The current situation in Germany is just a small foretaste of the forecasts that are in store for us and our children. The German Weather Service has reliably determined a reduction in temperature of 3.5 - 5.9 °C in its long-term forecast. From 2070, the heated summer of 2022 will seem cool to our descendants.

As things stand today, around 10 million hectares of arable land in southern Europe can no longer be cultivated using tried-and-tested agricultural methods. Due to the permanently sinking groundwater level, irrigation is largely no longer sufficiently possible, as the climate causes the water to evaporate immediately. With drip irrigation under AgriPV systems, up to 95% of the water can be saved and the soil can be regenerated through cultivation.
